How does bone conduction work?
The transducer positioned on the cheekbone generates mechanical micro-vibrations that travel through the zygomatic bone and reach the inner ear — without engaging the eardrum or middle ear.Your ear canals stay completely open: you hear your music and the full soundscape at the same time.
Bone conduction vs open-ear: what is the difference?
These two terms are often confused. They are fundamentally different physical mechanisms.<strong>Bone conduction</strong> — The transducer vibrates mechanically against the bone. Sound never travels through air. That is the MyVibe technology.<strong>Open-ear air conduction</strong> — A mini speaker directs sound toward the ear canal without blocking it. Sound still travels through air and the eardrum.
Why Bluetooth 5.4?
Bluetooth 5.4 delivers lower latency, better interference handling, optimized power consumption and stronger encryption. Every MyVibe model includes it.

Bone conduction naturally transmits mids and highs better than low frequencies. This is a physical limit shared by all bone conduction headphones. MyVibe is designed for sport, safety and situational awareness. For a richer sound, Is Powerful² — Powered by Onkyo adds amplification developed with Onkyo.
Autonomie & batterie
What is the battery life of each model?
Stated battery life is tested with continuous playback at medium volume: 6 h for Is Good, 8 h for Is Strong, 9 h for Is Powerful (110 h standby), 9 h for Is Powerful² — Powered by Onkyo, 6 h for Is Life.
How long does charging take?
About 2 hours for a full charge via the USB-C port. A 10-minute quick charge gives roughly 1 hour of playback. The cable is included in the box.
Resistance & sport
Does it stay put while running?
Yes. The 27 to 32 g neckband stays stable during effort. Tested on 15 km runs, in rain and wind.
What is the protection rating?
Is Good, Is Strong, Is Powerful et Is Powerful² sont résistants à la transpiration et aux éclaboussures : résistants à la pluie et à la transpiration.
Seul le modèle Is Life (IP68) permet la nage. Les autres modèles résistent aux projections et à la pluie, pas à l'immersion.
Can I swim with it?
Only Is Life is built for swimming: IP68 certified, with 35 hours of onboard music and a built-in MP3 player, because the Bluetooth signal does not travel underwater.

What does ONKYO® amplification add?
Is Powerful² — Powered by Onkyo integrates an ONKYO®-signed audio amplifier for improved sound quality, with more clarity and presence. Battery life (9 h) and other specifications are identical to Is Powerful.
Which colors are available?
Is Good: Black. Is Strong: Black, Beige. Is Powerful: Black, White. Is Powerful² — Powered by Onkyo: Black, White. Is Life: Black.
Can I connect two devices at once?
Yes, Is Powerful and Is Powerful² — Powered by Onkyo support Dual Connect (Bluetooth multipoint) to connect two devices simultaneously.

Is an app or an account required?
No app, no account, no internet connection: MyVibe works straight out of the box. No data is collected by the headset. Native GDPR compliance.
Which devices can I pair it with?
All Bluetooth devices: iOS and Android smartphones, macOS, Windows and Linux computers, Garmin watches, Apple Watch and Wear OS. Dual Connect enables two simultaneous devices on compatible models.

What is the warranty?
Legal conformity warranty: 2 years from delivery (EU Directive 2019/771). MyVibe additionally offers a 30-day return window (instead of the 14-day legal minimum).
